The ‘reNew Jersey Stronger’ housing initiative is committed to rebuilding a lasting foundation for New Jersey in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. The initiative is made possible with funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through its Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery program (CDBG-DR).
A New Jersey Disaster Case Management Program providing advocacy/disaster case management | counseling/financial assistance| food, clothing, and other unmet basic needs.
Operation Hope/Hope Coalition
The mission of HOPE is to make free enterprise work for all through financial dignity empowerment programs. HOPE Coalition America (HCA) is HOPE’s economic response and recovery division that has provided disaster preparation in advance of catastrophes and financial guidance and case management in the aftermath
Visitation Relief Center
Established to provide support to residents of Brick Township and surrounding communities impacted by Hurricane Sandy and other hardships.
Habitat for Humanity Northern Ocean County
Our mission is to provide low income families with a better quality of life through the building of affordable housing and/or repairing of low income families homes. Since the onset of Sandy we are challenged to help re-build families homes and lives. The projects are now Critical Home Repairs and require subcontractors including mold remediation.
New Jersey Hope and Healing
Providing emotional support and information about resources to community members impacted by Superstorm Sandy since November of 2012. Their mission includes helping survivors deal with the emotional consequences following the storm.
The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties
The Foodbank provides storm victims multiple benefits services including SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), GA (General Assistance), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), Medicaid applications and Referral Assistance services
